Inhaltsangabe:	Chili Palmer ist ein kleiner Geldeintreiber aus Miami. Man schickt ihn nach Los Angeles, um beim Film-Produzenten Harry Zimm längst überfällige Spielschulden einzutreiben. Harry hat Glück, denn Chili erweist sich als absoluter Film-Freak. Er liebt selbst die grellen B-Movies, für die Harry bekannt ist. Und anstatt Harry die Knochen zu brechen, serviert er ihm einen Vorschlag, der Harry endlich den großen Durchbruch im Filmgeschäft bringen könnte. Schnell begreift Chili, daß seine kriminelle Vergangenheit ein geradezu ideales Training für das Filmgeschäft war. Denn um es in Hollywood zu etwas zu bringen, muß man schon ein wenig skrupellos sein ...
