Inhaltsangabe: Derek Zoolander (Ben Stiller) ist ein erfolgreiches Model von Welt. Bei einem Fotoshooting bekommt er aber eine Gehirnwäsche verpasst. Er soll nun einen Präsidenten aus Südostasien töten, der die Kinderarbeit abschaffen will. Das würde enorme finanzielle Probleme in der Modeindustrie geben. Doch eine Enthüllungsjournalistin kommt hinter den teuflischen Plan der Modeindustrie und hilft Derek nun die Hintermänner ausfindig zu machen. Dabei muss er mit seinem Intimfeind Hansel zusammenarbeiten, denn die Zeit bis zum Fotoshooting an dem der Präsident teilnimmt drängt und keiner weiss, wie das Hypnosesignal zum Töten bei Derek ausgelöst wird...
